Based in Los Angeles but working also in his native Malaysia, Fausin Mdisa is driven by a passion for art and design and by a dedication to the bridging of the cultural distinctions between east and west. Through his creative marketing consultancy Atmesfer, Mdisa helps clients improve the quality of their daily lives and those of their consumers through the exploration and understanding of the connection between design – in two and three dimensions – and their personal perception. Mdisa and Atmesfer thus function as “creative enablers,” building out traditional marketing solutions with innovative approaches.

Galeri Chandan was created in order to invest in the future of Malaysian art and support the growth of Malaysian artists. Its founders, Nazli Aziz and Faisal Ghazali, together with its patron YBhg. Dato’ Seri Abdul Azim bin Mohd Zabidi, envision Galeri Chandan as a channel for presenting the rich diversity of contemporary artistic talent. The exhibition space also reflects the current artistic landscape, showing works that are progressive and stimulating. As its name suggests, Galeri Chandan evokes the essence of “Bukit Chandan”, a focal point of excellence in culture, architecture, arts and crafts. The gallery hopes to emulate and incorporate such distinctive qualities into its list of artistic pursuits. While Galeri Chandan is committed to the advancement of innovative forms of contemporary art, it also believes strongly in the importance of fostering linkages with heritage, contemporary culture, and creative expressions. For this reason, the gallery carefully balances commercial value and artistic significance in its choice of works exhibited
